Hi there, I just bought one of your succulents painted gold and I was wondering how the paint affects the succulent. Will it need more sun than usual? Does the paint affect the growth rate of the succulent? Can it still perform any photosynthesis? Also, just curious what kind of paint it is that doesn’t hurt the plants? Any info on my painted succulent would be very helpful! It’s quite an interesting plant to look at.

Hello,

Great question! We use floral paint which is not harmful to plants and won't affect photosynthesis. The paint will eventually grow out over time so just sit back and watch! Keep your plant in full sunlight as you would any succulent and water sparingly as it's a drought tolerant plant.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for choosing Rocket Farms!
