Place your pot of parsley in a sunny, preferably south-facing window. Parsley needs at least eight hours of direct sunlight each day. Water parsley when the soil is dry to a depth of 1 inch. Apply water until it drains from the holes in the bottom of the pot. Allow all the excess water to drain through, and then empty the saucer under the pot. Harvest parsley by clipping stems just above the soil. Parsley looks and tastes best when it is fresh, so only take as much as you need at one time. The plant replenishes itself quickly. Lastly, Feed the plant with liquid houseplant fertilizer every two weeks.
