Would like to know how to car for Orange Star bulbs so they bloom again next spring 2015. This year was the 1st time I had seen this flower and probably won't see them again in the stores here in Michigan. Everyone who saw it in my home loved it.

Glad to hear you love your orange star, they are a very fun, unique plant! You should cut the flower stalk back to the base of the plant once all the blooms are spent. This will let the plant put more energy into the bulb and store it for the next season. Once all the foliage has died back, the bulb should not be watered until you start to see new growth again in autumn. This should allow your orange star to bloom again next year!
