Job Summary:

Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Business Analyst plays an integral role in the planning department, responsible for collecting and analyzing data to enable the organization to make data-driven decisions. Essentials:

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative I performs wholesale center front office duties along with other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform accurate cash handling and cashiering duties such as issuing appropriate receipts and accepting payments.
  • Working the phone order desk, ensuring that all orders are taken and then set to the production crew at the proper time for pulling.

Position Summary:

As Rocket Farms Engineer, you will join the Maintenance team to maintain our existing facilities while assisting in plan and execution for expansion. You will plan, design, and oversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, and structures at our offices and production greenhouse facilities. This role will have the opportunity to make a huge impact on the future growth of all of our facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, construction and qualification of a new facility projects across Rocket Farms.
  • Structures an organization to assist in the construction and long-term operation of the our sites, including but not limited to: facilities, project engineering, metrology, site services, reliability engineering, CQV and plant engineering.
  • Generates, plans and executes multi-project plan which meets financial and manufacturing targets.
  • Provides direction on equipment design, procurement, installation, commissioning and validation.
  • Provides direction on new building design, clean-room design, automation infrastructure design and general site related projects.
  • Supports the generation of structured work-plans and consistently works to improve department workflow and standards.
  • Works closely with Horticulture, Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, Facilities and Site Management to execute projects without impeding production.
  • Manages monthly roll-up of project budgets and expense budget associated with process equipment repairs.
  • Evaluates “facility fit” for new projects / processes and develops estimates for any required modifications or additional equipment loads.
  • Provides technical evaluation and input for Quality Assurance initiatives.
  • Works closely with finance to meet financial targets of each individual project and the site from a capital and general expense perspective.
  • Understands client relationships and assists site leadership team in securing new business at the site.
  • Works with partners to understand their needs and manages the technical relationship with partners.
  • Ensure all projects are executed with the highest level of planning and safety to prevent injuries and downtime.

 

Requirements:

Job Summary:

The Irrigator and Sprayer is responsible for performing various tasks to aid the cultivation of plants as directed by the Grower. The Sprayer performs daily duties such as, but not limited to, irrigation, mixing chemicals and fertilizers, spraying chemicals, and assisting the department with other duties such as table moving and minor repairs on machinery and/or irrigation system to ensure that crops are finished on a timely manner and with minimal losses.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Can follow directions from the Grower that is overseeing the area and be able to learn, understand and manage the irrigation programs through the climate control system.
  • Responsible for irrigating assigned plants by hand when needed.
  • Responsible for the understanding and basic knowledge about the use of pesticides (fungicides, insecticides, PGR’s, biologicals, etc.) and their applications.
  • Scouting for diseases, pests, and crop-related issues and immediately report to the grower.
  • Mix and spray chemicals on plants as directed.
  • In charge of keeping “Spray Signs” current.
  • Responsible for the basic maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, spraying machines, and other minor equipment. Report major maintenance issues to Grower and Maintenance Team.
  • Ensure proper growing environment for assigned plants by opening or closing vents, doors, and shade cloths as instructed.
  • Perform Greenhouse(s) housekeeping duties such as, but not limited to: weeding, sweeping, bench preparation, etc.
  • Assist with crop maintenance activities such as, not limited to: plant selection, plant spacing, plant pinching, etc.
  • Attend mandatory training as they are scheduled by their supervisor and/or safety.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Some experience working in greenhouses, irrigation, spraying, growing fields, or related

Additional responsibilities also include packaging supply purchases to replenish inventory as needed, management of products and materials, maintaining system data accuracy on item master, and allocating supplies to the correct functions and/or departments at Rocket Farms, Inc. Close cross-functional collaboration will involve departments such as but not limited to: Sales & Marketing, Operations, Planning, Accounting, and Transportation teams.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Source quality supplies for company’s Marketing & Sales Team to fulfill HMB’s sales demand.
  • Participate in the product development process to ensure that material purchased are designed & manufactured to meet our product specifications & to maximize our assembling efficiency and cost savings.
  • Work with Marketing Team in managing our factory sampling process for all HMB products.
  • Responsible for purchasing of packaging supply inventory for Rocket Farms, Inc. Negotiate the best value based on pricing, availability, purchase volume, purchase frequency, order lead time, order history, and terms of contract.
  • Manage create, and update materials and product item master, including bill of materials, dimensions, carton codes, UPCs, item groupings, costing, etc.
  • Review material requirement via system MRP and seasonal rollup meeting for purchasing decisions and coordinate the material transfer between facilities and contract partners as needed to support packing activities.
  • Track product delivery status: Coordinate with custom brokers, internal logistics department, outside trucking companies, and shippers for the latest delivery status, or sales team for any delay and/or unexpected issues, presenting substitution options when needed.
  • Regularly review and evaluate performance of the suppliers, including their service, supply reliability, product quality, and pricing.
  • Continuously monitor all supply inventory to ensure timely fulfillment of production requirement, while maximizing inventory turns and minimizing the amount of obsolete/slow moving inventory by incorporating into product development process.
  • Manage and reconcile system inventory data for various locations at month-end to assist proper month-end closing.

What You Will Do - Position Summary:

As the Senior Product and Design Manager, you will be responsible for creating a clearly defined strategy for the development and execution of new and on-trend consumer products, as well as enhancing the current product lines in partnership with Horticulture, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, and Finance to satisfy all company’s objectives. Possessing creative and technical design abilities, you will lead the design concept and product development of a wide variety of decorative components and packaging across various product categories for the company’s proprietary brands and exclusive private label partnerships.

The Senior Product and Design Manager’s responsibilities will also include motivating, managing, and developing your team. Additionally, you will champion projects and support cross-functional teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution, and manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned product category, including the different aspects of the product lifecycle.

Business travel 20% required, both foreign and domestic.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute product design strategies, product development projects, and GTM campaigns for Rocket Farms, Inc.
  • Drive innovation and consumer relevance into product offerings with a keen eye for design and current trends to maximize customer performance across retail channels and consumer touchpoints.
  • Execute design concepts with vendors and suppliers and ensure timely execution of high-quality products within budget.
  • Lead and manage product development process across all GTM campaigns and effectively interface with cross-functional teams from concept to market.
  • Support Sales in customer meetings, present design concepts, and interface with customers on private label program development and executions.
  • Gather market data on key trends through trade shows, trade associations, analysis, etc., and integrate concepts and findings into product strategies, campaigns, and offerings.
  • Manage the professional development of two direct reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or related fields, with a minimum of 7 years of experience executing product development against company strategies.
  • Knowledge of product design, development, and manufacturing processes within Consumer Package Goods, Horticulture, Fashion, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated leader with excellent project management skills and ability to foster teamwork internally and externally to accomplish projects on time.
  • Experienced in budget management, cost strategy execution, and vendor negotiation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure in an environment with constant change.
  • Experience with, and ability to manage multiple and overseas vendors.
  • Must have a creative spirit to shake up conventional ways of thinking with a passion for design and home décor.
  • Two or more years of successful people management of marketing/design professionals.
