Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative I does wholesale center front office functions along with other assigned duties.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform accurate cash handling and cashiering duties such as issuing appropriate receipts and accepting payments.
  • Working the phone order desk, ensuring that all orders are taken and then set to the production crew at the proper time for pulling.
  • Answering incoming phone calls, emails and faxes.

Job Summary:

The Grower is responsible for managing assigned crop(s) and ensuring that internal harvesting specifications are met with the main goal of producing crops on time to spec. The Grower is also responsible for managing day-to-day operations related to, but not limited to: irrigation, fertilization, soil management, diseases and pest management, crop timing and scheduling, environmental control, trials documentation, as well as planning.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for record keeping associated with assigned crop(s) in all areas of harvesting as assigned by his/her manager.
  • Responsible for water, fertility, soil, pest disease, crop timing, scheduling and planning management for assigned crop(s)/areas.

Job Summary:

The Irrigator and Sprayer I is responsible for performing various tasks to aid the cultivation plants as directed by the Grower. The Sprayer performs daily duties such as, but not limited to, irrigation, mixing chemicals and fertilizers, spraying chemicals and assisting department with other duties such table moving and minor repairs on machinery and/or irrigation system to ensure that crops are finished on timely manner and with minimal losses.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Be able to learn, understand and manage the irrigation programs through the climate control system.
  • Responsible for irrigating assigned plants by hand when needed.
  • Responsible for the understanding and basic knowledge about the use of pesticides (fungicides, insectides, PGR’s, biologicals etc) and its applications.
  • Scouting for diseases, pests and crop related issues and immediately report to the grower
  • Mix and spray chemicals on plants as directed.
  • In charge of keeping “Spray Signs” current.
  • Responsible for the basic maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, spraying machines and other minor equipment. Report major maintenance issues to Grower and Maintenance Team.
  • Ensure proper growing environment for assigned plants by opening or closing vents, doors and shade cloths as instructed.
  • Perform Greenhouse(s) housekeeping duties such as, but not limited to: weeding, sweeping, bench preparation, etc.
  • Assist with crop maintenance activities such as, not limited to: plant selection, plant spacing, plant pinching, etc.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for providing support in the maintenance of greenhouses, landscaping, construction and other equipment at Rocket Farms Inc. The specialist works cross-functionally with other teams and departments to ensure operations are running smoothly across the company at all times.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Focus on completing tasks such as, but not limited to: digging trenches for concrete foundations and underground plumbing, drainage, electrical wiring, carpentry work, moving materials, landscaping and the effective use of tools and equipment to different work sites.
  • Effectively use construction portable power tools such as skill saws, tamping hammer, jack hammer, cement cutters, electric drills, grinders, etc. and hand tools such as hammers, pliers, bolt cutters, chisels, etc. to complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide daily maintenance support to assigned greenhouses by replacing and or repairing equipment, materials such as: glass planes, fiberglass, racks, vents and other required materials to ensure greenhouses are operating safely.
  • Responsible for assigned maintenance vehicle and its appropriate use to conduct daily assigned tasks.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on field irrigation systems, pumps pipes, fertilizer injection systems, pulse systems, air lines, CO2 lines and plumbing pipes. warehouses, and bathroom or kitchen plumbing.
  • Coordinate tasks accordingly to level of importance and perform emergency work as needed.
  • Work safely and responsibly at all times. This includes, the appropriate use of equipment such as: saws, hammers, drillers, grinders, etc. and wearing the appropriate protective equipment for each job as required by safety protocols. Job Summary:

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for processing procurement related paperwork, running daily material replenishment reports to allocate supplies to the correct functions and/or departments to support daily manufacturing activities, with close collaboration with Purchasing, Receiving, Transportation, Operation, Sales Order Entry, and Cost Accounting Teams for tasks such as but not limited to: daily MRP, inventory counts and movement, data keeping, communication of supplies and deliveries, item master data and assembly Bill of Material (BOM) maintenance, purchase order processing, billing, sales order shipment posting and trouble shooting.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor all supply inventory to ensure timely fulfillment of production requirement. Execute daily material request planning reports including virtual warehouse sales activities to allocate packaging hardgoods supplies from receiving warehouse to operation packing lines and follow up misc. reclass and transfer order to ensure system data up to date.
  • Support company purchasers in item master and assembly BOM data maintenance.
  • Notify purchasing team of company in-stock inventory issues.
  • Update system daily assembly order substitution materials per Operation Team’s records and assembly BOM on product mix per Planning Team’s requests.
  • Compile weekly and monthly inventory reports in support of operation team’s cycle count and inventory scrap activities. Keep system data up to date and reconcile inventory at month end to assist proper month-end closing.
  • Assist transportation team in SO shipment posting and inventory-related posting issue trouble shooting.
  • Process purchase orders in support of purchasing team, constant coordination with company purchasing, receiving, and operation teams, and outside suppliers and/or contract growers/packers.
  • Backfill and support team member functions to ensure no disruption of company business in facility purchasing and UPC printing requirements.

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for coordinating and execution of the off-site partner contract grow program, and procurement of growing materials and horticultural supplies of various in-house crop programs. Close collaboration with multiple cross functional teams: with Planning and Sale Order Management Departments on supply vs demand alignment, with Horticulture, Operation, and Transportation Departments on inventory, documentation, and communication of supplies and deliveries, and with Accounting Department on billing.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and purchase plant supplies and direct communications among various partner contract growers/packers, including quantity, quality, staging, finished upgrade item specs. Travel on demand to growers’ facilities for crop walk and operational issues.
  • Monitor sales demand and direct communications with sales account managers and order management team to pre-plan packing execution per geographic locations of customers and partner co-packers.
  • Situational analysis to help contract growers/packers to pre-plan their packing capacity in fulfilling our seasonal high-volume orders.
  • Coordinate with contract growers/packers to ensure proper PO execution on inventory and invoice tracking on direct ship customer orders.
  • Arrange hardgoods inventory movement to support last minute packing facility changes.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Sales Order Management, and Transportation Departments to update system records with correct/most updated shipping location (per contract grower) and coordinate BOL distribution and collection.
  • Notify and coordinate with Operation Department & Supply Chain UPC Team on certain in-house packing orders.
  • Analyze and record data monthly of contract growing/packing inventory for Accounting Department to reconcile company’s month-end financial and inventory statement.
  • Process purchase orders on growing materials and horticultural supplies on various in-house crop programs, monitor and identify any order fulfillment discrepancies on loss and defects from the suppliers to take corrective actions, compile vendor credit claim reports with supporting pictures, and follow up claim status.
  • Maintain system growing material item code accuracy.
  • Stay on top of growing material product delivery status. Coordinate with custom brokers, trucking companies, and shippers for the latest delivery status and notify Horticulture and Operation Departments for physical receiving.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Read work orders, pick tickets, routings, schedules, material labels, inventory, and data records.
  • Enter and maintain operational data (Plant Item, BOM, lot numbers, and Labor Tasks, Plant Inventory Tracking, Work Order) in company Greenhouse Business System – Starcom Plant Partner.
  • Coordinate, distribute and communicate batch tickets, labeling, specifications, and any other pertinent paperwork or supplies needed for production to plant staff.
  • Pick raw materials, receive finished goods and scrap.
  • Perform secondary operations.
  • Assist with quality checks and procedure audits in our process.
  • Assist production staff with Starcom daily task/processes.
  • Take appropriate measures to ensure all products are completed to production, quality and technical specification.
